ABOUT THE PROJECT
The challenge: purchasing a house that was recently completed for the sale but nothing that has been done to it is to your taste. This was the case for this young family purchasing this great A frame with light filled spaces and a great location. Luckily the decision was made for them when a tree crashed through the roof shortly after the sale and helped to make up their mind on the kitchen and loft renovations. Our team designed a space with bright pops of color and smart storage throughout this open space mixing in organic wood details and modern light fixtures
Another large element to this renovation was the fireplace. It was sinking into the floor and needed reinforcing. We took the opportunity to lower the hearth and paint out the whole stone facing on both sides. This opened up the space visually and brought a fresh bright appeal to the space with the warmth coming from the furnishings and views out the windows.
